What is Alive always finds a way...

There are moments when everything feels stuck.

Nothing moves the way it was supposed to.
Plans fall apart.
What once held everything together… suddenly doesn’t anymore.

And in those moments, the same question often returns:

How are we supposed to get through this, exactly?

This winter felt like that for me.

The trailer freezing.
The pipes.
The furnace.
The cold finding its way into everything.

Every day seemed to arrive with a new problem attached to it.

And sometimes I found myself standing in the middle of it all, looking at the situation as if it had become bigger than me.

It wasn’t comfortable.
It wasn’t graceful.
It definitely wasn’t the romantic version of freedom people like to imagine.

It was raw.

And yet…

Something always happened.

An idea arriving at the right moment.
A solution appearing out of nowhere.
A small adjustment.

Sometimes tiny.
Sometimes almost impossible to explain.

And slowly, almost despite myself, a passage would begin to appear.

Not a perfect path.
Not a clear plan.

Just… a way through.

Like a crack in concrete.
Like roots finding their way around stone.
Like a flower growing somewhere nobody expected it to survive.

After living through enough moments like that, something inside eventually changes.

Trust no longer rests in the plan.

It rests in life itself.

In that strange intelligence that keeps moving beneath everything, even when all the doors seem closed.

Even when structures collapse.
Even when systems stop making sense.

Life always finds a way through.

And sometimes the real work…

isn’t forcing an exit.

It’s staying present enough to notice where life is already opening one —

even when, from the outside, everything still looks completely blocked.
